1. Precision Italian Bodice Draft
Curriculum Method
We teach Italian bodice block foundations. Instead of generic standard sizes, you calculate armscye balance, shoulder slope, and bust apex positions directly on grid drafting paper.
Studio Atelier Standard
A millimeter error on flat paper multiplies into puckering seams on fabric. You learn to read and correct drafting lines before cutting a single thread.

2. The Muslin Trial & Seam Balance
The toile is where flat paper meets human anatomy. You stitch a test garment in raw calico, pin it directly on a form, and assess balance lines, ease allowance, and drape tension.
This practice prevents costly mistakes with customer silks. A bespoke fitting trial establishes trust and eliminates garment alterations.
3. Hand Finish & Structural Longevity
A garment that sells at boutique prices must look as clean on the inside as the outside. We train you in bound Hong Kong seams, invisible hand hemming, and clean canvas interlinings.

I have never stitched before. Can I really join the Boutique Management diploma?
Yes. The Diploma in Fashion Designing & Boutique Management is deliberately structured for absolute beginners. We begin with the physical mechanics of the industrial machine, needle control, and grain lines before introducing pattern drafting. You do not need any prior sewing experience.
What does "90% Practical Learning" mean in day-to-day classes?
It means 90% of your contact classroom hours are spent physically drafting patterns with French curves, cutting muslin toiles, fitting garments on tailor mannequins, and operating sewing machines under Vidya's immediate supervision—not listening to passive PowerPoint lectures.
How are batch seats managed?
Each annual diploma intake is strictly limited to 20 learners. This ensures that every student has their own drafting table and dedicated sewing station with continuous, individualized mentor guidance.
Are fees all-inclusive or are there hidden material costs?
The indicative tuition fee covers full classroom instruction, machine usage, and foundational drafting equipment. You provide your own individual project fabrics and trims for garments you take home. We discuss the complete fee and inclusions during your studio visit before any commitment.
